Manage your profile

A cover photo is the larger image at the top of your profile, visible to anyone who visits your profile, just like your profile picture.

On the web browser:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Click on "Edit Profile” button.
3. Click on the "Change Cover Photo" option in the center of the cover image.
4. In the dropdown menu, you can decide whether to edit the existing cover photo or upload a new one.

On the mobile app:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap on "Edit Profile” button.
3. Tap on the "Change Cover Photo" option in the center of the cover image.
4. In the bottom sheet menu, you can choose to either edit or upload a new cover image or capture a new photo.

On the web browser:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Click on the cover photo to see it full screen.
3. Click on the more (•••) icon , located on the top right corner
4. In the dropdown menu, you can find the option to delete the cover image.

On the mobile app:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap on the cover photo to see it full screen.
3. Tap on the more (•••) icon , located on the top right corner
4. In the bottom sheet menu, you can find the option to delete the cover image.

5. Select all the traits that distinguish your avatar from others.

Profile Privacy enables you to set your profile to private, ensuring that the content you share will only be visible by PoliticAll users whom you have accepted as followers.

4. To make your profile private, simply toggle the switch to the "on" position.

On the mobile app:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap on "Edit Profile” button.

You can choose to either show or hide your current or recent activity on the platform by turning your online status on or off. By default, this option is set to “on”.

During sign-up, you were prompted to create a unique username for your account. By default, this option is set to “on”.

4. You can decide whether to edit the existing username or create a new one.

The username must adhere to the following guidelines:

• It must not begin with numbers.
• Using only numbers is not allowed.
• Spaces are not allowed.
• Special characters are not allowed, with the exception of the underscore symbol "_".

Ultimately, you have the option to deactivate your username, but you'll be asked to provide your first and last name, which will then serve as the replacement for your username on your profile.

4. Add or edit a concise and comprehensive self-description, as well as your perspective.
