This week, members of the subreddit r/WallStreetBets collectively bought a large amount of GameStop and AMC stock in response to hedge funds shorting the stocks and investing billions of dollars in doing so. A few hedge funds have been bankrupted, and even more are being forced to sell their other stocks to make back the money they're now losing. In response, Robinhood has shut down trading on these stocks and is even selling them without consent of their customers. Are they wrong for doing so?
