Should the United-States change the Constitution on a one time basis, allowing Elon Musk to run for president in 2028?

To allow a non-U.S.-born citizen to run for president, the U.S. Constitution would need to be amended. The current restriction is in Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution, which states:

“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
This means only individuals who are either born as U.S. citizens or were citizens when the Constitution was adopted are eligible to serve as President.
