There, is a strong possibility that the Republican Party will retain control of the United States Senate. This will undoubtedly to President-elect Joe Biden not being able to fully pursue the policy agenda which won the Presidential election. However, in this age of hyper-partisanship, isn’t this a good thing for the United States to have possible gridlock in the upper spheres of power? Would this lead to a more bipartisan approach and to a more centrist policy agenda?
