Set your profile private

Profile Privacy enables you to set your profile to private, ensuring that the content you share will only be visible by PoliticAll users whom you have accepted as followers.

On the web browser:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Click on "Edit Profile” button.
  3. Locate the "Profile Privacy" section.
  4. To make your profile private, simply toggle the switch to the "on" position.

On the mobile app:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Tap on "Edit Profile” button.
  3. Locate the "Profile Privacy" section.
  4. To make your profile private, simply toggle the switch to the "on" position.

Manage the online status

You can choose to either show or hide your current or recent activity on the platform by turning your online status on or off. By default, this option is set to “on”.

On the web browser:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Click on "Edit Profile” button.
  3. Locate the "Online Status" section.
  4. Toggle your online status according to your preferences.

On the mobile app:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Tap on "Edit Profile” button.
  3. Locate the "Online Status" section.
  4. Toggle your online status according to your preferences.

Manage platform cookies

Cookies are tiny snippets of text dispatched to your web browser or our app. They serve the purpose of retaining crucial information about your visit, thereby simplifying your return visits and enhancing the website's utility to you.

On the web browser:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Click on “Privacy”.
  3. Locate “Cookies” section.
  4. In this section, you can adjust your cookies settings.

Please be aware that essential cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the PoliticAll platform and will remain active at all times.

Download your personal data

On the web browser:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Click on “Privacy”.
  3. Locate “Personal Data” section.
  4. In this section, you can export your personal data.

On the mobile app:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Tap on “Privacy”.
  3. Locate and tap on “Personal Data”.
  4. On this screen, you can export your personal data.

Please note that the process of exporting your personal data may require up to [X] hours. Upon completion, we will promptly send an email containing the exported data to the email address associated to your account.

Change your account password

On the web browser:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Click on “Security”.
  3. Locate “Change Password” section.
  4. In this section, you can change the password associated to your account.

On the mobile app:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Tap on “Security”.
  3. Locate and tap on “Change Password”.
  4. On this screen, you can change the password associated to your account.

Activate the two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) plays a crucial role in enhancing web security by promptly mitigating the vulnerabilities linked to compromised passwords. In the event of a password being hacked, guessed, or even phished, it ceases to be sufficient for granting unauthorized access. Without the validation of the second factor, a password on its own becomes ineffective.

On the web browser:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Click on “Security”.
  3. Locate “Two-factor authentication” section.
  4. In this section, you can activate or deactivate the two-factor authentication.
  5. Verify the phone number via the verification code we will send you.

On the mobile app:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Tap on “Security”.
  3. Locate and tap on “Two-factor authentication”.
  4. On this screen, you can activate or deactivate the two-factor authentication.
  5. Verify the phone number via the verification code we will send you.

I haven't received the code to verify my phone number

On the web browser:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Click on “Security”.
  3. Locate “Two-factor authentication” section.
  4. In this section, you can activate or deactivate the two-factor authentication.
  5. Verify the phone number via the verification code we will send you.
  6. If you do not receive the code, just click the "Re-send" button.

On the mobile app:

  1. Go to Settings (⚙︎)
  2. Tap on “Security”.
  3. Locate and tap on “Two-factor authentication”.
  4. On this screen, you can activate or deactivate the two-factor authentication.
  5. Verify the phone number via the verification code we will send you.
  6. If you don't receive the code, simply tap the "Re-send" button.
